Jesus Christ

Category: Endurance in mission, suffering, and compassion

Could avoid: Avoid the cross, reject rejection.
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke 22:42)

Chose: Walked the road of suffering with steadfast obedience.

Could avoid: Fear the shame of unwed motherhood.

Could avoid: Give up hope of seeing the Messiah.
