Chapter (8) Embracing Growth and Navigating Adversity

1. The same lesson will appear in different forms until you learn to respond differently.

2. Listen to your spirit when it tells you to fall back from certain people.

3. Exercise the power of your subconscious mind.

4. One of the best lessons in life is to master the art of remaining calm. Calm is a superpower.

5. The nearer a man comes to a calm mind, the closer he is to strength.

6. If you are patient enough, you will eventually get there if you are on the right path.

7. You will become as small as your controlling desire, as great as your dominant aspiration.

8. Artists remove the extra stone to reveal the hidden beauty inside of a raw stone. Your happiness is hidden within you; remove your worries.

9. We all are addicted to something that ruins us. Know how to end it.

10. Control how you respond to things sent to destroy your peace.

11. A mistake repeated more than once is a choice.

12. The less you respond to negativity, the more peaceful your life becomes.

13. We do not control what happens; we control how we respond.

14. You cannot force someone to respect you, but you can refuse to be disrespected.

15. Do not be depressed if someone refuses to help you; don’t be sad if someone ignores you. You will be thankful to all those who said no; because of them, you will accomplish yourself.

16. You must handle stress to manage success.

17. To suffer without complaint is the only lesson we must learn in this life.

18. When you start caring for yourself, you start feeling better, looking better, and attracting better. It all starts with you.

19. Less excuses, more success. Excuses do not build empires.

20. You can easily avoid criticism by saying nothing, doing nothing and being nothing. However, there is no progress, and you lose. You might even be criticised for saying nothing and doing nothing.

21. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit at home and think about it. Go out and get busy.

22. Be so busy that you have no time to be sad.

23. You must teach your heart to accept what cannot be changed.

24. When we can no longer change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.

25. Many problems can be solved by changing your diet, circle, habits and mindset.

26. You cannot become who you want to be because you are too attached to who you have been.

27. Just because you are used to it does not mean it is good for you.

28. Sometimes, we have to let go of what is killing us, even if it is killing us to let go.

29. Solve the problem or leave the problem. However, do not live with the problem.

30. Sometimes, the easiest way to solve a problem is to stop participating in the problem.

31. If you do not like where you are, move. You are not a tree.

32. You do not have to accept things you are not okay with.

33. Take a change and grow.

34. You will give yourself relief if you do every act of your life as if it were the last.

35. Incredible things can be done simply if we are committed to making them happen.

36. If you are afraid to lose, you do not deserve to win. A failure mindset cannot earn success.

37. Do not turn back; you are not going that way. Only look back to see how far you have come.

38. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up, and never give up.

39. Do not give up. The most challenging battles are given to the strongest soldiers.

40. Stop expecting people to support your dream. It is yours.

41. You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice.
