Chapter (5) Conquering Fear and Cultivating Happiness

1. Of all the liars in the world, the worst are our fears.

2. Fear does not exist anywhere except in the mind.

3. Fear is often caused by imagination.

4. A man who fears suffering is already suffering from what he fears.

5. We suffer more often in imagination than in reality.

6. Your imagination might be your problem rather than the reality.

7. Overthinking, overloving, overcaring, and overtrusting are your problems.

8. Overthinking could be a decease.

9. Overthinking will kill your mind, heart, soul, mood, time, love, and magic.

10. Stop overthinking. Nothing in this world can trouble you as much as your thoughts.

11. Fear kills more dreams than failure ever will.

12. Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.

13. Happiness is the highest level of success.

14. Happiness in your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

15. The quality of your thinking determines the quality of your life.

16. Everything hangs on one’s thinking; a man is as unhappy as he has convinced himself that he is.

17. The mind creates reality. We can change our reality by changing our minds.

18. Very little is needed to make a happy life. It is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.

19. The most important decision you make is to be in a good mood.

20. Whatever you do, do not let the evil that is inside of others kill the love that is inside of you.

21. Nothing kills a man faster than his thoughts.

22. Kill the tension before tension kills you.

23. Fear casts a giant shadow over a small thing. Facing your fears and overcoming them can help.

24. Do not let fear decide for you; your wings already exist. All you have to do is fly.

27. For your peace of mind, try to understand only some things.

39. I am at peace today, and my mind will no longer overanalyse the past or stress about the unknown ahead. I am present in the moments in front of my eyes.

40. You will never be happy if you live in the past or worry about the future. The only way to be happy is to enjoy the present.

41. We are disturbed not by events but by the views which we take of them.

42. So much of our happiness depends on how we look at the world.
