Corrupt Priests

Category: Failure of holiness

Could endure: Honor God with pure offerings.
“For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the LORD Almighty.” (Malachi 2:7)

Chose wrongly: Offered defiled sacrifices, despised God’s name.
“You place defiled food on my altar. But you ask, ‘How have we defiled you?’” (Malachi 1:7)
