Chapter (3) The Discipline of Self-Mastery

1. Many people think of changing the world, but few think of changing themselves.

2. He who lives without discipline dies without honour.

3. We do not have to be smarter than the rest; we just have to be more disciplined.

4. If you do not have self-discipline, you are not in control of your own life.

5. He who does not command himself always remains a slave to his impulses, and the will of others will easily dominate his spirit.

6. If we do not discipline ourselves, the world will do it for us.

7. We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
