Mental Therapy: Chapter (1) Acceptance and Resilience

1. Never expect, never demand, never ask, never assume. Just let it be. If it is meant to be, it will happen.

2. Whatever happens to you has been waiting to happen since the beginning.

3. If it is meant to be, it will be.

4. There is no need to rush; what is meant for you will always arrive on time.

5. Everything will be fine; it is just a matter of time.

6. Accept everything just the way it is.

7. Be thankful for everything in your life; it is all an experience.

8. These pains you feel are messengers. Listen to them.

9. It matters not what happens to you but how you react to it.

10. A promising future needs some bad memories.

11. You can always be happy no matter what happens in your life. Being sad is never an option.

12. Remember that just because you hit bottom does not mean you must stay there.

13. As long as you feel pain, you are still alive. As long as you make mistakes, you are still human. As long as you keep trying, there is still hope.

14. No one is perfect, not me, not you, not them. Just be real. If you want to live a peaceful life, accept yourself for who you are and respect others for who they are.

15. We all make mistakes. We say the wrong things, do wrong things, fall, get up, learn, grow, move on, live, and thank God for always forgiving us.

16. If you cannot do anything about it, then let it go. Do not be a prisoner to things you cannot change.

17. Refrain from wasting your energy on pursuing things that are beyond your control.

18. Refrain from stressing about things you cannot change.

19. What happened has happened. Free your mind from it; you are about to start a new chapter in your life. Accept this change and move on.

20. You cannot go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.

21. To be happy, you must let go of what is gone, be grateful for what remains, and look forward to what is coming next.

22. Accept what cannot be changed.

23. Getting lost is part of the journey.

24. Mistakes are the proof that you are trying.

25. A mistake that makes you humble is better than an achievement that makes you arrogant.

26. The only man who never makes mistakes is the man who never does anything.

27. I have no regrets; do better next time.

28. Difficulties strengthen the mind as labour does the body.

29. Everyone has good days and bad days.

30. Even the hardest of days will pass.

31. Even the darkest night will end, and the sun will rise.

32. You are getting closer, and that is why it is getting tough.

33. If everything seems dark, look again; you may be the light.
