People: Chapter (1) Lessons in Trust and Perception

, , ,

1. Innocent people are not stupid. They think everyone has a good heart.

2. When your heart is pure, people take advantage of you.

3. Whenever I trust someone new, they remind me why I should not trust anyone.

4. One of our biggest mistakes is assuming that other people think the way we think.

5. Sometimes, we expect too much from others because we would be willing to do that much for them.

6. Do not be too kind; this world is too blind.

7. People ask you what you do for a living so that they can determine the level of respect they will give you.

8. Some people are waiting to see you fail. Some are waiting to see you quit. Let them wait forever.

9. People believe in you only when you are winning, so you need to believe in yourself even when you are losing.

10. Most people will only support you once they see it is beneficial to support you.

11. It is funny how they left you when it was raining as if the sun would not shine again.

12. People will want you to do well but never want you to be better than them, except your parents.

13. People start hating you when they cannot reach your level.

14. A strong person does not seek revenge. They move on and let karma do all the dirty work.

15. Weak people revenge, strong people forgive, and intelligent people ignore.

16. We live in a world where the intelligent must keep quiet so that the stupid will not be offended.

17. Sometimes, we are just the collateral damage in someone else’s war against themselves.

18. Refrain from explaining yourself to others. The person who likes you does not need it, and the person who dislikes it will not believe it.

19. Avoid wasting your time with explanations. People only hear what they want to hear.

20. A person hears only what they thought.

21. We do not see things as they are; we see things as we are.

22. You cannot make someone understand a message they are not ready to receive.

23. People who know little are usually great talkers, while men who know much say little.

24. The problem with close-minded people is that their mouth is always open. 25. Somebody might be mad at you because you picked peace over drama and distance over disrespect. Well done.
