Yourself: Chapter (1) Journey of Self-Discovery

1. Allow yourself to be a beginner at things; no one starts as excellent.

2. Stop stopping yourself.

3. Stop doubting yourself, work hard and make it happen.

4. To move the world, you must first move yourself.

5. Doing everything on your own takes time; find a wise mentor for your purpose.

6. The only one who can motivate you is you.

7. Do not wait for someone to bring you flowers. Plant your garden and decorate your soul.

8. Fight for what you want because nobody will give it to you.

9. Fight for your future.

10. It is your responsibility to build yourself and shape your own life.

11. No one is coming to save your problems; your life is your responsibility.

12. If your goals set you apart from the crowd, stay alone.

13. Do not be afraid to be alone. Goals are personal. Normalise walking some paths alone.

14. Do not be afraid to choose your path.

15. If no one is with you, do it by yourself. It is better to be great alone than to be average together.

16. It is far better to be alone than to be in bad company.

17. No one will help you, if you are not ready to help yourself.

18. Only you can change your life, no one else.

19. People will not notice the late nights, early mornings, self-doubt, failures, obstacles, and risks taken. They will only see your results and call you lucky. Refrain from expecting them to understand.

20. When you dream big, you go to bed late and get up early. You will have very few friends, be misunderstood, and be single unless you are lucky enough to find someone who understands your lifestyle. For these reasons, you will do many things alone.

21. When you are serious about your dream, be ready to be alone, to be laughed at, to be doubted, to be criticised, and to be misunderstood. This is the cost of ambition.

22. Do not be ashamed of your hustle because no one will care for you if you fail.

23. Pushing yourself further when no one else will do it for you, towards making your dreams a reality.

24. Be self-motivated because no one is going to push you.

25. Consistency is harder when no one is clapping for you. It would help if you clapped for yourself during those times; you should always be your biggest fan.

26. Walking alone is the most challenging walk, but it is also the walk that makes you the strongest.

27. Be willing to walk alone. Many who start with you will only sometimes stay.

28. Some roads you have to take alone—no family, no friends, no partner. If you believe in God, it’s just you and God.

29. Work on yourself and vibe alone for a while. Every season does not need company.

30. It could take half your life before discovering life is a do-it-yourself project.

31. Walking alone for a bit will help you to realise a lot.

32. Sometimes, loneliness is the price you pay for growth.

33. Sometimes, growing is learning to be alone.

34. When you start to improve yourself, loneliness is the price you pay.

35. You are at a new level if you go through things alone and come back better.

36. Walk alone until you find someone who has the same dream and shares the same vision. Walk alone until you find someone who fits your lifestyle.

37. If you want to be respected by others, the great thing is to respect yourself. Only by that, and only by self-respect, will you compel others to respect you.

38. Respect yourself enough to say, “I deserve better. “

39. Stand up for yourself even if no one else is on your side.

40. It is beautiful to be alone. To be alone does not mean to be lonely. It means the mind is not influenced and contaminated by society.
