1 Kings 3:9 9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

1 Kings 3:28 28 And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.

2 Chronicles 1:11-12 11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: 12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

Job 12:12 12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

Job 28:28 28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Job 32:8 8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Job 38:4-7 4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Psalms 37:30 30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

Psalms 90:12 12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Psalms 111:10 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Psalms 119:97-98 97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. 98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

Proverbs 1:7 7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 1:32 32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

Proverbs 3:7 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:13-14 13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

Proverbs 3:21 21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

Proverbs 10:1 1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

Proverbs 14:29 29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

Ecclesiastes 7:19 19 Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city.

Isaiah 28:29 29 This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

Isaiah 29:14 14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
