Chapter (8) The Essence of Life

1. Life is only a short trip. Enjoy it.

2. Live life before life leaves you.

3. Not living your life is a waste of time.

4. Understand that you own nothing, that everything that surrounds you is temporary, and that only the love in your heart might last forever.

5. A person comes into this world with nothing. Moreover, when he dies, he leaves with nothing. Despite all his hard work, he leaves precisely as he came.

6. Day by day, I realised that the things that cost nothing have the most value.

7. To live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not people or objects.

8. The goal of life is to live in agreement with nature.

9. We do not remember days; we remember moments.

10. The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge.

11. Life is simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

12. Branded clothes or a rich lifestyle do not qualify for life. It is measured by the number of faces who smile when they hear your name.

13. Remember, there is still time to think that life is not just about business but also about living.

14. Make sure you are better and really happy in your real life, not just in the eyes of others.

15. The longer I live, the more I realise the impact of attitude on life.

16. The first half of life is learning to be an adult; the second half is learning to be a child.

17. Life’s biggest tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late.

18. The older you get, the more quiet you become. Life humbles you so deeply as you age. You realise how much nonsense you have wasted time on.

19. Time decides who you meet in life, your heart decides who you want in your life, and your behaviour decides who stays in your life.

20. You make your life hard by always being in your head. Life is simple: get out of your head and into the moment.

21. Happiness in your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.

22. Our life is what our thoughts make it.
