Endured (negatively): Broken trust, destruction of relationships.

Why (wrong motive): Pursuit of fleeting pleasure.

Result: Bitterness, death, ruin.

Lust as Distorted Desire

Chose wrongly: Pursued love as lust detached from covenant.

Endured (negatively): Consumed by desire, enslaved to passion.

Why (wrong motive): Seeking satisfaction apart from God’s design.

Result: Ruin, while true covenant love endures.
